What New Shops Do You Want on Washington? Heart of Brooklyn Wants to Know

Nonprofit launches a needs assessment survey with goal of increasing the diversity of offerings on the strip.

 

Of the more than a dozen new businesses that have opened on Washington Avenue in the past two years, the vast majority have been bars or restaurants.

In an effort to increase the diversity of offerings on the strip, Heart of Brooklyn is launching a Needs Assessment Survey for Washington Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Eastern Parkway. 

Surveys can be filled out online at surveymonkey.com/s/washingtonavenue and at participating businesses. In addition, volunteers conducting the surveys in person with area residents and visitors to the member organizations. The findings will be shared publicly at heartofbrooklyn.org.
