Random Attack on Franklin Avenue
A 27-year-old man said that someone he didn’t know punched him in the face several times at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Place. The attack took place at 1:50 a.m. on Monday June 11. The man was taken to Interfaith Hospital, according to a police report.

Bike Thefts
A 29-year old woman reported that her $300 Schwinn bicycle was stolen after she left it locked on a bike rack at the side of her Plaza Street East building. The theft took place sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. on Monday June 11, according to a police report.
A 33-year-old woman reported that two bikes were stolen from the storage cage in her basement in her apartment building. The bikes, a Trek hybrid and a Tirreno dirt bike worth a total of $3,000 had been locked when she left them there on May 5, but when she checked the bikes on May 7 the lock was clipped and the bikes missing. She reported the thefts on June 11, according to a police report.
$10,000 Car Jack Theft
A thief made off with “snap-on car jacks” worth a total of $10,000 from an auto repair shop on Atlantic Avenue between Classon and Grand Avenues. The theft at Mario’s Auto Repair, 1008 Atlantic Ave., took place sometime between 7 p.m. on Monday, June 11 and 7 a.m. the next day, according to a police report.
Trio of Crack Pipe Arrests
A 50-year-old woman, a 51 year-old-man and a 36-year-old man were charged with possession of a controlled substance after a cop saw them wit a crack pipe containing crack-cocaine resident in public view. Later the cops also found marijuana on the 51-year-old. The arrest took place on Pacific Street between Classon and Franklin avenues at 9:08 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, according to a police report.
