Gunman Ambushes Deliveryman in Eastern Parkway Lobby
Restaurant worker held-up inside apartment building after being sent on a false delivery.
A restaurant deliveryman was ambushed in an apartment building lobby by a gunman who apparently used trickery to get him there, according to a police report.
The victim said he tried to deliver the food to the building on Eastern Parkway between Classon and Franklin, but when he got to the apartment, the occupants said they hadn't placed an order.

When the deliveryman returned to the lobby, a mugger put a gun to his head and stole the man's cell phone and $310 in cash.
The hold-up took place on Saturday, March 23 at 7:15 p.m.
