Fire on Park Place

No injuries at fire in first-floor apartment.

Firefighters quickly doused a fire at 230 Park Place this morning an FDNY spokesman said.

There were no injuries from the blaze, which broke out just before 10:30 this morning. It started in the bedroom of a first floor apartment of the six-story brick building, according to the spokesman.

Ten fire trucks rushed to the scene and the fire was out by 11:05 a.m., the spokesman said.
