Peeping Tom on Eastern Parkway and Coffee House Break-In

Eastern Parkway Peeping Tom

A 62-year-old woman reported that she woke up early one morning to see a man on the fire escape outside her window. The man ran off when she walked over. According to the woman this is an "ongoing" occurrence and she has no idea who the man is. The incident took place at 5:30 a.m. on March 1 on Eastern Parkway between Classon and Franklin avenues.

Coffee House Break In

Police are looking for someone who broke into Breukelen Coffee House. 

A worker at the shop said he locked the shop up at 9 p.m. on Feb. 24. and When he returned the next morning at 6:30 a.m. he saw that an entire day's receipts were gone and a back window and the rear door were left open.  

 

$46K BMW Stolen on Dean Street

A thief stole a car worth $46,000 from Dean Street between March 3 and 4.

The 36-year-old victim told police that he parked his 2013 BMW 3281 on Dean Street between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues on March 3 at around 9:30 p.m. When he returned to get his Beemer the next day at around 6 p.m., it was gone. 

 

Barclays Center Camera Theft

A quick-handed crook stole a man’s camera from a suite in Barclays Center sometime between March 3 and 4.

The 30-year-old victim told police that he was at Barclays Center in a private suite. He placed his Canon camera and lens on a chair in the back of the room and walked to the front of the room to watch the show at around 11 p.m. When he went to grab his camera at around 12:01 a.m. March 4, it was gone. The crook got away with the victim’s Canon T1-I camera and a Canon 45mm lens, worth a total of $1,950.
