Prospect Park Celebrates Passage of Marriage Equality Act with Discounts

Prospect Park is honoring New York State’s this weekend by offering discounts at the Picnic House and Boathouse.

Those holding marriages or other events at the Prospect Park Picnic House will get 10 percent off any event taking place before June 2012 as long as they reserve the date before Labor Day.

At the Prospect Park Boathouse, park officials will be honoring 2011 prices through June of 2012 (a $250 savings) if the date is booked by Labor Day.

The Boathouse is available for morning ceremonies only and costs $1,000. The Picnic House can be used for ceremonies and reception with prices ranging from $3,375 to $4,800 (click here for details).
