Thanksgiving in Prospect Heights: What's Open?

Cafes, bars, restaurants and more (yoga anyone?) that are open on Turkey day.

 

On Thanksgiving, other than supermarkets, most places are closed. However, there are a few in Prospect Heights that will be open:

Bars

Minor Arcana is open after 8 p.m.

Bar Sepia is open after 8 p.m.

 

Coffee Shops

Sit & Wonder is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Milk Bar is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m  serving only drinks and pastries.  

 

Restaurants (some with bars) 

Piquant is open all day and evening

Joy Indian Restaurant is open all day and evening

Woodland is open all day and evening and serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner. (See our full list of area restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner.)

 

Other

Prospect Park Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Winey Neighbor is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shambhala will hold a All Level Vinyasa yoga class from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

D's Just Desserts is open 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (and selling whole pies to take home).
