Franny's Offers New Option For The Crowd-Phobic

Owners promise change will allow people to finally avoid the lines.

It used to be that if you wanted to eat at Franny's, Prospect Heights' destination  pizza and spot, you had to be willing to brave the crowds.

This remained true even after the foodie favorite moved across the street to larger digs. But with THIS change, the owners say they'll really get ahead of the apparently never-ceasing demand:

Now they're open for lunch seven days a week. Before the restaurant has only been open for lunch on weekends.

"Tired of the crowds or waiting for a table?" a blog post on the retaurant's website begins. "Beginning on Monday, July 1st, franny’s will be open for lunch seven days a week!!!"

They will serve the dinner menu (with dinner prices) at lunch. Here's their new hours:

Monday-Thursday: 12-3 PM, 5:30 – 11:00 PM
Friday: 12:00 – 3:00PM, 5:30 – 11:30 PM
Saturday: 12:00 – 11:30 PM
Sunday: 12:00 – 11:00 PM

So what do you think Prospect Heights? Do you think one will be able to finally get a clam and chili pizza without the wait?
