Monday

If you live in Prospect Heights, Crown Heights Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, or Bed-Stuy,  on Monday night there's a Meet and Greet with City Council Candidates. The event is free, but you need to sign-up for a ticket in advance. Details at the link. 
 

Tuesday

Kick back tonight at The Way Station with folk from Bo DePena at 8 p.m. followed by Wyatt's special brand of Indie Rock. Details here

For those in Crown Heights, there's the Crown Heights Town Hall Part 2, where community members can beet their neighbors and talk about shaping the future of Crown Heights.  


Wednesday


If you own a small business, the Pratt Area Community Council is offering a series of workshops. Tonight the topic is corporate structure. Details here.


Thursday


Start the weekend early at Celebrate Brooklyn's Old School Funk and Hip-Hop Dance Party at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The event not only includes free dance lessons, but also multiple beer gardens and a bike valet. Details here


Friday

Get out of your weekend rut with Brooklyn Contra's dance party at Brooklyn Lyceum in Park Slope (location is confirmed -ASC, 2:20pm). Don't worry if you've never done it before, there's a beginner contra dance lesson at 7:30pm. Live music by the High Toned String Band. Details here.
