1. Stomp to music. Come to Dizzy's Fifth Avenue (230 5th Ave) for City
Stomp Live tonight. Called the Best Place to Rock Out While Having
Dinner by Time Out New York Kids, shows are free with a dinner
reservation. Seatings are at 5 and 6:30 p.m.; shows are at 5:45 and
6:45 p.m.

2. Cast an educated vote. Don’t miss the Parliament Democratic Club Meeting tonight at 7 p.m. 444 Clinton Avenue bet. Gates and Green. District Leader Renee Collymore and The Parliament Democratic Club will host a “Meet the Candidates Forum” for the 35th Council District.

3. Mix it up. Head over to The Way Station (683 Washington Ave) to hear Samantha Rise Roberson + Arun Ramamurthy Trio + Ryan Dobby play. Robertson weaves together jazz, folk and contemporary styles, while the Arum Ramamurthy Trio offers what could only be called "alt Indian classical" and Dobby brings Acoustic/Folk/Reggae to the mix.

4. Go for weird. Tonight is also Terry Dame's Weird Wednesdays Series, presenting "composer/musician Ben Neill and his mutantrumpet and The Harvestworks Hybrid Instrument Lab mini showcase with Lee Free and friends displaying electronic toys and max patches for bassoons and other oddities. As always Dame will present her own 15 minutes of musical weirdness on Terraphones, electronics and windy surprises."

5. Move the car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today.
