5 Things: Roe v. Wade Trivia, Nerd a Cappella and Improv Comedy

1. Know Your Roe. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision at the Planned Parenthood Outreach Trivia: Know Your Roe at Branded Saloon. 7:30 p.m. Free, but RSVP requested (details at the link).  

2. Laugh a little. If you're in the mood for some light entertainment, head to LaunchPad for Best Friend's Thread - Improv Comedy. 8 p.m. $5 requested donation.

3. Nerd out. Swing by The Way Station for Choirfly + Noah Redfield. Choirfly is NYC's premiere nerd-themed a cappella group. Founded in 2011 by Rachel Rakov, Choirfly's members share a love of singing in addition to their affections of comic books, video games, sci-fi, RPGs, and fantasy.

4. Join the club. If you know some book-loving tweens, send them to to Powerhouse on 8th in Park Slope for Middle Grade Book Club: The Secret of Zoom. Join the book shop for their third Middle Grade Book Club Night (Ages 9-12) tonight from 5:30 to 6:30 with their children's book specialist Jordan of TheRustyKey.com. There will be a reading of “The Secret of Zoom” by Lynne Jonell.
