5 Things: Historic Trolley Tour, Zydeco Accordion and Curated Open Mic

1. Get out of your musical rut. Head to The Way Station for the Little Sammy Squeeze and RockInOctober, where the headlining accordionist hosts a "Rock & Roll Rhythm & Blues Zydeco Dance Party." 683 Washington Ave. bet. St. Marks and Prospect in Prospect Heights, 9 p.m., free.

2. See Brooklyn like a tourist. Start with the Historic Trolley Tour at Green-Wood Cemetery, where you can catch the fall colors on the historic cemetery's 478 acres as well as some of the most striking views of Manhattan. 500 25th St. in Windsor Terrace, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. $15.  

3. Scope out Brooklyn's new talent. The Wednesday Night Song Club at Ceol is an invite-only open mic night hosted by songwriter Niall Connolly, featuring, he promises, only "the cream of the crop of Brooklyn, national and international songwriters." Ceol, 191 Smith St. in Carroll Gardens, 7 p.m. Free. 

4. See more dance. Head to the Brooklyn Academy of Music for   The U.S. premier of a work by Pina Bausch incorporates Chilean folk music with dance in a piece that explores "Chilean society, cities, traditions and beauty," according to BAM's website. Performances run through Oct. 27. 30 Lafayette Ave. in Fort Greene, 7:30 p.m. $25 and up. 

5. Move your car. Alternate side parking is in effect today. The next suspension is this Friday, Oct. 26 for Idul-Adha, according to the NYCDOT.
