Prospect Heights information and events you won't want to miss.

4. You need to get the kids out of the house. Luckily, because of spring break at the public schools there are a . At Prospect Park there's , where kids will make their own nature journal and learn the tools of the trade. Audubon Center (Lincoln Road/Ocean Avenue entrance), 1-4 p.m., all ages, Free.

5. You need to know if your train is running, and if you have to move your car. The late-night horror continues on the Q-train. Between about midnight and 5 a.m. your train stops at Atlantic or Pacific (depending on your direction). There you have to walk through the station to the opposite end and wait for your connecting train. This continues all week, according to the MTA. Alternate side is blessedly suspended through April 26 thanks to Passover, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter, according to the NYC DOT.
