1. You need Proust! You're in luck. Tonight is the inaugural meeting of the "Franklin Avenue Proust Society." The brainchild of Little Zelda owner Michael de Zayas, the group will read In Search of Lost Time—slowly—and meet every night to discuss it for the next two years. Little Zelda, 728 Franklin Ave., 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free.

5. You need to know if your train is running ... or if you have to move your car.  There are no planned subway changes affecting Prospect Heights stations all weekend. For drivers, alternate side parking rules won't be suspended again until Wednesday, August 15 for Feast of the Assumption, according to the NYCDOT
