1. You need to get to the movies, and to get outside. Do both at . Tonight the John Hughes festival continues with "Planes Trains & Autos." Sundown (about 8 p.m.). Free.

2. You need to compete. Head to . , 618 Saint Johns Pl. at Franklin. 9:00pm.

3. You need Prince. Head to  for . 8 p.m. 702 Union St. at Fifth Avenue. $5.

4. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to the Brooklyn Public Library for , where kids do crafts and other  activities from around the world. , Youth Wing, 2:30-3:30 p.m., 7-12 years, Free. Or, see our  for the week. 

5. You need to know if your train is running, and if you have to move your car. There are no service changes affecting Prospect Heights today, according to the MTA. As for moving your car, alternate side is not suspended again until the Feast of the Assumption on Monday, August 15, according to the NYC DOT.
