5 Things: Wine With Your Workout and Beer for Better Transit

Prospect Heights-area information and events you won't want to miss.

1. Take in some tunes. Tonight there's an interesting show at The Way Station. At All I Want is a Photograph, the challenge, this time presented to both musicians and writers, is to write a song or story about a found photograph. The photo must be found, i.e., anonymous and completely random, perhaps discovered in a thrift store, an old book, the street, etc. The photos will be scanned and shown on the screen behind the stage while each person is performing.

2. Dance Your Drink Off. 'Club Workout' at Nova Bar Brooklyn. A full aerobic hardcore workout incorporating self-defense techniques with DJ Ant Marshall of Lyricist Lounge providing the tunes. Women get to party, dance, snack and have an overall good time. Nova Bar Brooklyn is located at 884 Pacific St. between Underhill and Washington avenues. Cost is $15 (or $10 per person for groups of 3) for those who RSVP in advance.
