Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need to get to the museum ... but you'd rather hit the bar. In that case skip this week and head to  for  (no cover) or  ($10), both at 9. 

2. You need to relax. Head to  for piano and song by local musician . 807 Classon Ave. at St. Johns, 7:30 p.m. Free.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to  for a . 755 Dean St (at the corner of Underhill Ave), 10:30 a.m., $5/family. Or, see our  for more options. 

4. You need to know if your train is running ... This week, the Q train is running normally, even late at night. However, between 10:00 p.m. to midnight through Thursday there are no No. 3 trains. No. 2 and 4 trains will provide alternate service, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Sorry, you do. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Monday, Feb. 13 for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
