5 Things: Bike Share Workshop, Dueling Trivia and Comedy Nights, Late-Night Q Train Delays, More

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need a bike share station near you. Bike share stations are coming to Prospect Heights this summer. Let the DOT know where you think they should go at . There will be two one-hour sessions starting at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Medgar Evers College, 1650 Bedford Ave. (at Montgomery Street), President's Conference Center, room B1008. Free.

2. You need to have some fun. It's a good night to hit the bars. There's  at 9,  at 8,  at 8 and  at 9. No cover.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to the  for  where kids 18-36 months hear picture books read aloud and play with other children. Space is limited. Pick up a ticket at the Children's Reference Desk on the morning of the program. 10 Grand Army Plaza, 10:15 or 11 a.m. Free. See our  for more options.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... During the day you're fine, but the late-night Q-train misery continues. Between 11:45 p.m. and 5 a.m. the Q train will drop you at Pacific and you walk over to Atlantic to catch the next leg of your trip, according to the MTA. The good news is that the track work is nearly done. The  and the late-night work will end March 16 if not earlier, an MTA spokeswoman said.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do, but alternate side will be this Thursday, March 8 for Purim, according to the NYCDOT.
