Police Seeking Subway Attacker in Brooklyn

Suspect hit victim in the head with a pipe on train platform.

Police in Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an assault at the Ralph Avenue C train station.

According to police, the suspect approached a 35-year-old man at the station and hit him in the head with a pipe multiple times while he was standing on the train platform.

The victim fell onto the tracks after the attack. Police did not have any information as to whether or not the victim was conscious and able to pull himself to safety, but he was taken to Interfaith Hospital by EMTs with cuts and bruises and a broken tooth.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair. Photos from the police are included above.
