Mark Rogers & Mary Byrne + BC3 (Brad Craig Trio) + Diana Tejera @ The Way Station

8pm- Mark Rogers & Mary Byrne
Genre: Avant folk
For fans of: Sad pop and joyful blues

In this collaboration, Mark Rogers & Mary Byrne trade the hum and buzz of the band for the stark openness of acoustic work.  Mark’s guitar, mandolin, and National steel meet Mary's elegaic lyrics and baritone guitar.  Before this, Mark was multi-instrumentalist with Brooklyn indie-folk band The Loom and Atlanta's renowned Myssouri.  Mary was singer and guitarist for Atlanta rock trio Hot Young Priest (Two Sheds Music).  Together, the two play music that's strange yet beautiful, poetic yet frank, unassuming yet serious.

“Mark Rogers’ slide guitar screeching like souls in Hell.”  – Pitchfork

“Mary Byrne’s voice is easily as sexy, seductive and catchy as any influential female rock singer who came before.” – PopMatters

9pm- BC3 (Brad Craig Trio)
Guitarist Brad Craig started out in his early teens, playing fast, hard rock n roll at all the hot spots in his native NYC, including Max's Kansas City, CBGB and The Palladium. Since then, he has continued to work with established and emerging artists, in a wide variety of genres and styles, on stage and in studios from Brooklyn to Tokyo.  Currently, Brad can be found the last Monday of every month at THE WAY STATION, with his newly formed trio, "BC3".  Genre defiant, BC3 does it all, and does it well, with a core of accomplished musicians, guest vocalists and soloists.
