Jonathan Mandell, Neighbor

Jonathan Mandell is a third-generation New York City journalist and critic who tweets as  @NewYorkTheater. He has written for a wide variety of newspapers, magazines and websites, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, Esquire, New York, ArtNews, Good Housekeeping, American Theatre Magazine, and NPR.com. He has served as editor-in-chief of GothamGazette.com, producer for CBSNews.com and CNN.com, and as a staff writer for Newsday and the New York Daily News. He has taught at the Columbia School of Journalism. He holds a BA in English from Yale and an MA in American Studies from Columbia University.
