Poll: How Do You Prefer To Donate During the Holidays?

While the economy has tightened everyone's purse strings, a poll released by the Red Cross earlier this month indicated that 67% of those interviewed still set aside money for charity during the holidays.

But monetary donations are just one way to give to charitable causes. Prospect Heights Patch Editor Amy Sara Clark reported this week that to clothe those in need this winter. And, if you prefer to give your time instead of money or goods, there are always opportunities to volunteer your services locally.
