Petey and Rory (plus Geneva Finds a Home)
A pitbull-mix abandoned just before New Year's with a note on his collar and a 2-year-old tomcat recovers from burns on his feet.
Three-year-old Petey, a Pitbull mix, was abandoned by his owner just before New Year’s Day.
He was found tied up in front of a grooming business that had closed down.
“He had a note on his collar saying that the dog had always felt comfortable at the place – I guess the owner didn’t know the shop had closed,” said Sean Casey, founder of Sean Casey Animal Rescue, where a Good Samaritan brought the shivering dog.
