MTA Doing Just Great, MTA Survey Finds

Subways, buses just the tops, according to people who run the subways, buses.

In an evaluation of the MTA, conducted by the MTA, the MTA has found that the MTA is great! Congratulations MTA!

In a press release sent out Tuesday, the New York transit giant unveiled the findings of its latest customer satisfaction survey, and surprise! They're awesome.

When it came to the subways, 76 percent of riders polled said they were either satisfied or very satisfied with subway service, which was a one percent increase over last year, which is — uh-oh! — within the poll's margin of error.

The subways actually lost points in the "keeping trains/platforms from getting too crowded during rush hour" metric, an area the MTA pledged to monitor this year. An MTA official chalked up the rating to challenges related to Sandy recovery.

Bus service satisfaction skyrocketed to 74 percent, the MTA said, its all time high, but again, that increase was somehow also within the poll's margin of error.

Satisfied or not, you're still on pace to pay the most ever over the next two years, so you may as well pretend to like it!
