Local Artist, Megan Karlen, Wins First Place at Long Island Museum
Local artist Megan Karlen has lived in Brooklyn for 20 years, currently in Prospect Heights and her studio is in Red Hook. Her painting Montauk Dream has just won first place at the Smithsonian-affiliated Long Island Museum in Stony Brook.If you are traveling out east this weekend, check out the museum. It is varied, beautiful and caters to adults and children.
