Original, Teddy Bear Documentation!

In my years of research of my old bear, I can say from the very beginning of Michtom's creation of the Teddy Bear. The local companies of New York were so excited that they documented this many times with their products. As I look back in time with help of this modern day computer, I can put the pieces together. In 1903, the creation of the teddy bear right there in Brooklyn. It had never been done before why to put a smile on a stuffed toy bear and name it after the President. This has never been done before and yet to have the President go along with this. Yes these were exciting times in the New York area! And the whole world followed these happenings. The teddy bear was in great demand, every ware! Today museums document these great moments in time as the New York Historicle Society documents the birth of the teddy bear in their web page. They have this picture of this very early Ideal Novelty Toy Company advertisement of the Original Teddy Bear!  *Jointed, Gold Mohair bear.  *Champagne Velvet Paws.  And yes this describes my old bear perfect!! I have this bear! This advertisement is just one of the many pieces of evidence I have put together to prove my true story! I have emailed both NYHS and the Brooklyn museum but no reply. It would be a very great day, in New York's history to have this original bear in either museum!   Did you know, the History books say President Theodore Roosevelt was the first President that SMILED!
