Sea Lion Feeding This daily event features the Prospect Park Zoo sea lions showing off their dives, catching fish mid-air and other tricks. , 450 Flatbush Avenue, 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., Free with zoo admission of $8 adults, $5 kids 3-12.

 Each week Annie Nieves will lead the group in an art project that promotes creativity and experimentation. The class also includes some independent play and concludes with music and a sing-a-long. Skate Truck at Prospect Park Want to go roller skating with the kids but don't want to invest in the equipment? Today there will be skate and safety equipment rental and instruction by Skate Truck NYC at the 3rd Street entrance to the Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last rental at 3 p.m.). The truck will be at the park periodically over the summer (see link).

Mommy & Me Book Club Reading Meet Author Madafi Pierre who will be reading from her children’s book “LoCo’s Lullaby.” 726 Franklin Ave. (between Sterling and Parkl), 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Free.

Greenlight Kids Story Time, Brooklyn author/illustrator and frequent guest Elisha Cooper will present his new picture book Homer! Lefferts House Events Today the historic house is hosting Race Around the Farmyard, where the whole family can participate in potato sack races, stilts and other old-fashioned games (2:30 to 3:30 p.m.). For older kids there are also  Second Floor Tours (1-4:30 on the half hour) Lefferts Historic House at Prospect Park (Use entrance at Empire Boulevard and Flatbush and Ocean Avenues), Kids free, $3 suggested for adults.

 Make all-natural and recycled crafts with a new project each week. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park). 1-2 p.m., all ages, Free.

Transit Museum: Dig it ... With Dad Did you know that archeological treasures have been discovered during subway tunnel construction? Kids and their dads (or moms, etc.) will dig up artifacts from the museum's  makeshift excavation site. For ages 4+. 1:30 p.m. New York Transit Museum, Corner of Boerum Pl & Schermerhorn St, 1:30 p.m., Free with museum admission (adults $7, kids 2-17 and seniors $5).  

Puppetworks' The Jungle Book Rudyard Kipling's 1894 fables of India

  Ok, this isn't per se a kids event, but kids might enjoy the wide selection of treats on offer, especially if you have a second adult to do the waiting on (very long) lines, while you and the kids play in the park. Grand Army Plaza entrance, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Father's Day at the Audubon Center Kids can make a Father’s Day card out of recycled materials from 1 to 3 p.m. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park). 1-2 p.m., all ages, Free.

Father's Day Sing-along In addition to the usual events at Lefferts House, in honor of dad, there's a sing along with Rory Dineen plus kids will have the chance to treat Dad to fresh strawberries with homemade whipped cream. Lefferts Historic House at Prospect Park (Use entrance at Empire Boulevard and Flatbush and Ocean Avenues), Kids free, $3 suggested for adults.
