Nets Crushed In Kidd's First Official Game As Coach

Starting five turn in lackluster performance in Orlando.

New head coach Jason Kidd got a very rude welcoming in his debut with the Nets on Sunday, according to ESPN.com.

Playing in Orlando, the Nets got taken to the cleaners, losing 107-86 to the Magic after Kidd returned from a two-game suspension to start the season. He was suspended after a DUI incident on Long Island over the summer.

Brook Lopez led the Nets with 21 points and six rebounds, but the team got an uninspired showing from its new stars, with Paul Pierce contributing 16 points and a quiet night from the rest of the starting five.
