Markowitz Hints at Hockey for Barclays Center
Borough president said he'd like to bring an NHL team to Brooklyn at his preview for tomorrow's State of the Borough address.
Hockey may be coming to the Barclays Center, if a hint from Borough President Marty Markowitz is any indication, says the Brooklyn Daily.
At the Bay Ridge Community Council’s Presidents’ Luncheon on Saturday, Markowitz previewed tomorrow’s State of the Borough address, saying that “there should be an NHL team,” in Brooklyn, says the report. The Daily says that Morkowitz is generally tight-lipped about announcements.
