Report: School Not Liable In Teen's Drowning Death

Prospect Heights International High School was not at fault for the drowning death of a 16-year old student last June, according to a report published in the New York Daily News.

Investigators found that school staffers warned Jean Fritz Pierre to stay out of the water four times before he drowned during a school field trip to an upstate lake, the paper said.

The trip to Bear Moutain State Park was properly supervised by school staff, according to investigators quoted in the report.
