"Artists and freelancers can get free financial advice and attend money-related workshops — courtesy of the City of New York – this Saturday, May 14 from noon to 5 pm at the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, located at 1368 Fulton Street in Brooklyn. A networking reception follows.
"The event – the third of its kind – brings together financial consultants (who are available for one-on-one consulting), service organizations such as The Field and Fractured Atlas, plus local business and arts groups.
"The project is a joint effort of the Department of Cultural Affairs, the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Office of Financial Empowerment, in partnership with the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation."
