Report: More Affordable Housing Coming to Crown Heights
Former factory to be bulldozed for 135-unit apartment building, Brownstoner reports.
An eight-story affordable housing complex is heading to Crown Heights, according to a recent report on Brownstoner.
The neighborhood, which is undergoing a rapid demographic shift, is sorely in need of the affordable housing, and the 135-unit structure will replace a former factory at the site, according to the report.
The developer told Brownstoner the building, which is not yet under construction, will feature first floor meeting places and a fitness center.
