Woman Raped on Underhill: Reports From the 77th Precinct

Plus a teen arrested for bike theft and a clunker car stolen and an subway pickpocket on the loose.

Woman Raped on Underhill Avenue 

An 18-year-old woman was raped on the street on the corner of Prospect Place and Underhill Avenue just after midnight on Dec. 9.  The woman, who was highly intoxicated, was not able to give cops a description of her attacker. She was taken to Kings County hospital. The report did not specify the woman's condition. So far, no arrests have been made.

Subway Pickpocket 

A 22-year-old woman reported that she was about to board a No. 3 train at the Atlantic Avenue Station at about 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 13 when someone bumped into her from behind. She got on the train, but at the Eastern Parkway station noticed her iPhone was missing. Using software on the phone, cops were able to trace it to the corner of Osborn Street and Sutter Avenue in East New York, but so far no arrests have been made.

Clunker Car Theft

Note to self: Just because your car is old, doesn't mean someone won't steal it.

A 37-year-old man reported that someone took his 1997 Ford Expedition Suburban, which is worth about $3,000, from Dean Street between Vanderbilt and Underhill on the morning of Dec. 4.

 

Teen Nabbed in Bike Theft

A 16-year-old boy was charged with possession of stolen property after a 61-year-old man said he saw the teen take his bike from the corner of Grand Avenue and Dean Street. A cop on patrol caught the teen with the bike less then five minutes later at Pacific Street and Classon Avenue with the bike.
