Street Closures for NYC's 2013 Puerto Rican Day Parade

If you're driving in Manhattan on Sunday, June 10, avoid these streets.

From the NYPD:
 

The 56th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday June 9, 2013 and proceed along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street. Street closures effective at 9:30 a.m. and pedestrian crossing information, follows. As during other parades and major spectator events, the public should anticipate some traffic delays and disruptions, as well as increased police presence, including specialized units and other deployments in the vicinity of the parade route and nearby transit hubs.
 
Street closures effective 9:30 a.m.:
44th Street between Broadway and Vanderbilt Avenue
45th Street between 6th Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue
46th Street between 6th Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue                
47th Street between 6th Avenue and Park Avenue
48th Street between 6th Avenue and Madison Avenue
Vanderbilt Avenue between 42nd Street and 47th Street
79th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue
 
Pedestrian Crossings:
50th, 54th, 60th Streets - West Bound Only
53rd,58th – East Bound Only
49th ,51st,57th,72nd Streets East and West Bound
84th Street West Bound to Museum
