Polling Site Locations in Prospect Heights

Depending on where you live, you'll have to travel to a different polling site to vote on Tuesday

If you're planning on voting on Tuesday, it's important to know where your polling station is. There are several polling sites that service Prospect Heights, but you do not have a choice where you vote. You are only allowed to vote at the polling station assigned to your address.

Most residents of Prospect Heights will vote at one of two locations: P.S. 9 or P.S. 316.

P.S. 9, also known as Teunis G. Bergen, is located at the 80 Underhill Ave., between St. Marks Avenue and Bergen Street. It serves as the polling location for most people in central and western Prospect Height.

P.S. 316, also known as Elijah Stroud, is located at 750 Classon Ave., between Sterling and Park Places. It serves as the polling location for many people in southern and eastern Prospect Heights.

However, there are a few other locations to which you may be assigned. If you live near Atlantic Ave., you may vote at the School for Career Development at 510 Clermont Ave., near the corner of Atlantic. You may also have to vote at the Grant Square Senior Center at the intersection of Bergen Street and Bedford and Roger Avenues. The address is 19 Grant Sq.

If you live along Eastern Parkway, there is a chance you will vote at the Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway.

The best way to be sure where you are supposed to vote is to check the New York City Board of Elections' polling site locator.
