Join a Community Board 8 Committee!

Whether you're concerned about bike lanes or new liquor licenses, crime or playgrounds, the board committees are the place to have an impact.

Did you know that membership in Community Board 8’s committees is open to the public?

Whether you’re interested in which businesses are applying for liquor licenses, or what changes the DOT is planning next for the area, joining a board committee is the best way to have an impact while decisions are being made.

“The work is actually done in committee,” said Community Board 8 District Manager Michelle George. One the proposal gets to the full board, the details are already worked out.
