Candidates Forum Tonight at Duryea Baptist Church

Pols seeking office in 2012 invited to attend

Prospect Heights Democrats for Reform is hosting a candidates forum this evening in anticipation of upcoming primaries for the 2012 elections. The event will be held at the Duryea Baptist Church at 362 Sterling Place. It starts at 7PM.

Speaking at the meeting will be candidates running in the 10th Congressional District, the 18th Senate District, the 20th Senate District, the 57th Assembly District, and 52nd Assembly District.

Those invited to speak include Congressman Edolphus Towns (D-10th Congressional District), State Senator Eric Adams (D-20th Senate District), Assemblyman and Congressional candidate Hakeem Jeffries (D-57th Assembly District, running in 10th Congressional District), and many others. Following the candidates' remarks, eligible club members will vote on endorsements.
