And ... Now Trash and Recycling Collection is Back On

Department of Sanitation now says it will resume pick-up with delays.

Just to keep us on our toes (and possibly because the snowfall was light), the Department of Sanitation announced that it WILL collect trash and recycling starting tomorrow.

Here's the Department of Sanitation announcement:

"DSNY has resumed refuse and recycling collection. Customers scheduled for Friday or Saturday collection should place their refuse and recycling containers curbside if they have not already done so. Customers should expect delays in pickup.

"If your trash or recycling is not picked up on your scheduled collection day you may leave it out. If you put your trash or recycling out earlier in the week and it is covered in snow, please dig it out so it can be collected."
