Woman Robbed on Sterling Place

A Prospect Heights woman was held-up at gunpoint in Prospect Heights and had her iPhone stolen.

A 41-year-old woman was robbed on Sterling Place between Washington and Underhill avenues late Monday night.

The woman woman told police that a man approached her with a firearm around 11:25 p.m. and forced her to give him her iPhone. He did not attempt to take any other possessions.

The police described the perpetrator as a black male, but did not have his approximate height, weight or age. No arrests have been made.
