One woman was injured in a fire in an apartment building on Eastern Parkway Monday evening.
She was taken to Methodist Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, an FDNY spokesman said.
The blaze broke out just before 8:45 p.m. in a first floor unit of 307 Eastern Parkway, a small apartment building located between Classon and Franklin Avenues, according to the FDNY.
About 60 firefighters using 12 trucks fought the flames, which were under control at 9:29 p.m. Officials are still investigating the cause, the spokesman said.
