A pre-dawn fire on Franklin Avenue temporarily closed a bodega and a hair salon and affected several apartments.
The blaze broke out just before 2:32 a.m. Wednesday at 788 Franklin, at the corner of Lincoln Place, an FDNY spokesman said.
Twelve fire trucks and about 60 firefighters fought the flames at the four-story apartment building, which were put under control at 3:03 a.m.
Twelve hours later, Radha Grocery Store and Aissatou Hair Braiding Salon remained shuttered, and several windows in apartments above were boarded up.
