The following information was supplied by the 77th Precinct of the NYPD. It does not indicate a conviction.

Anti-Semitic Subway Harassment

A teen was arrested for hurling anti-Semitic slurs at a commuter, stealing his phone and harassing him at the Eastern Parkway subway station.

The 48-year-old victim told cops he was on a southbound No. 3 train just before 3 p.m. on April 15 when a group of teens got on and began making jokes and harassing the other passengers.

Then one of the teens tried to talk to the victim, but he told the teen to leave him alone. The teen replied "fucking Jews" and offered up some unspecified threats. The man took a picture of the teen with his Blackberry, and the teen snatched it away. The man grabbed the phone back and alerted the train crew to call the cops. When police arrived the teen struggled with the officers who tried to arrest him, police said.

Thugs Mug 12-Year-Old

A group of men stole a cell phone from a 12-year-old boy. The victim was at the corner of Park Place and Franklin Avenue at about 6 p.m. on April 15 when several men came up to him and one of them asked him if he had a cell phone. Then the man reached into the boy’s pocket and took the phone. The thief told the boy that if he said anything he would beat him up and then the group ran off.
