Report: NYPD Investigating Crown Heights Hate Crimes

Attacks, graffiti have been more frequent recently, police told News 12.

The NYPD has formed a task force to investigate a rash of anti-Semitic incidents that has sprung up in Crown Heights in the last two months, News 12 reported Wednesday.

According to the report, police in local precincts are investigating several incidents, including an assault by one man in a group against a Jewish individual walking at night, and several instances of anti-Semitic graffiti. 

So far, police told News 12, the incidents do not appear to be related. There have reportedly be seven incidents in total in the neighborhood since September.
