Police Searching for Murder Suspect

The NYPD is searching for a man suspected of murdering Corey Scott earlier this month.

The New York Police Department is asking for the public's assistance as they search for a man suspected of murder.

On Saturday Oct. 23, 28-year-old Corey Scott was found dead of multiple gunshots at 109 W. 14 st. in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. Police now have reason to believe that Earl Barranco -- described by the police as a 24-year-old black man, standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 193 pounds -- was involved in Scott's murder.

If you see Scott, or have any information that may lead to his arrest, call the New York City Police Department's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
