Police Blotter: Woman Held-Up on Butler Place

Butler Place Armed Robbery

A woman was walking toward the corner of Sterling and Bulter when a man with a handgun came up to her from behind, showed her a silver handgun, grabbed her bag and fled. 

About $35 worth of property was taken including an iPhone 4S and her wallet. The mugging took place at about 2 a.m. on April 9.


Grand Army Plaza iPhone Grab

A quick-handed crook stole an iPhone out of a woman’s hand as she was walking out of the Grand Army Plaza subway station on April 16.

The 26-year-old victim told police that she just left the 2/3 train subway station at around 2:40 p.m. and was standing at the southeast corner of Plaza Street West and Flatbush Avenue when a crook grabbed her iPhone and ran.
 

St. Marks Motorbike Theft

A thief stole a motorcycle from its parking spot on St. Marks Avenue sometime between April 17 and 18.

The 29-year-old victim told police that he parked his blue Yamaha motorbike between Flatbush and Carlton avenues on April 17 at around 9 p.m. When he returned to get his motorcycle the next day at around 11:25 a.m., it was gone. Police said that it had not been towed.
