Burglary on Prospect Place

A thief broke into an apartment on Prospect Place at the Corner of Vanderbilt Avenue and stole three guitars and a Macintosh laptop worth a total of $4,700. The break-in took place during the day on Wednesday, Feb. 22, according to a police report.

Two Marijuana Arrests
Two men were charged with marijuana possession in separate incidents on Washington Avenue in the same day.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on Washington Avenue at St. Johns Place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb, 23, after a cop saw with marijuana in open view.
Then, at 12:07 p.m. a 21-year-od man was arrested on Prospect Place between Underhill and Washington after a police officer saw him with a container of marijuana, according to a police report.
Eastern Parkway Pocket PC Snatch
A man had his Intermec pocket PC snatched inside a building on Eastern Parkway between Washington and Underhill.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb., 21, the man bent down to tie his shoes in the building’s lobby and put down the hand-held computer on a step next to him. Just then a group of boys walked by and one of them snatched the computer, according to a police report.
