Potted Shrub Heist

Police are looking for a person who sole about $300 worth of potted shrubs and flowers from in front of a Bergen Street home. The thief was caught on video taking the goods at 3:02 a.m. on Friday, March 30 at a house near Classon Avenue. The crook then fled on bicycle.

Meter Maid Shove

A 56-year-old man was arrested after he yelled and screamed at a 23-year-old traffic agent and then shoved her in the chest after she began writing a ticket for his van, which was parked at an expired meter. The arrest took place on Washington Avenue between Sterling and St. Johns on Monday, March 26 at 11:17 a.m.

 

Crack Arrest

A 60-year-old man was arrested after a cop saw him with a Ziploc bag containing three bags of marijuana and six bags of crack cocaine. The man was arrested on Franklin Avenue at Prospect Place on Wednesday, March 28 at 3:10 p.m.

 

Driver Flees Accident

Police are looking for a man who rear-ended another car, possibly while he was drunk, and then drove away. The driver of the rear-ended car said that the second driver smelled like alcohol and was driving a black Mercedes SUV with New Jersey Plates. The incident happened on Franklin Avenue between Lincoln and Eastern Parkway on Wednesday, March 28 at 10 p.m.

 

Woman Stiffs Cabbie $9 Fare

A taxi driver called police after a woman refused to pay him him a $9 cab fare. The cabbie picked up the woman at Boerum Place and Atlantic Avenue. When he dropped her at Sterling Place near Underhill, she swiped her credit card, but it didn’t go through. When the driver told her that she said it did go through and walked off. The incident took place on Friday, March 30 at 11:55 p.m.

 

Heroin Arrest

A 50-year-old man was arrested after a cop spotted him with an envelope in public view that appeared to contain heroin residue. The man was arrested on Wednesday, March 28 at 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Eastern Parkway and Franklin Avenue.

 

Driver Wrecks Car and Flees

Police are looking for a driver who plowed into a car on St. Johns Place at Franklin Avenue and then took off. The damaged car appeared to need more than $1,000 worth of repairs, police said. The event took place on Sunday, April 1 at 12:50 a.m.
