Franklin Park Bottle Attack

A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with hitting a 35-year-old man in the face with a broken bottle at early Monday morning.
The attack happened inside the bar located at 618 St. Johns Place, at about 2:50 a.m. after an argument. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital for cuts on his face, according to a police report.

Veteran’s Car Broken Into on Memorial Day
A thief broke into a veteran’s car – on Memorial Day no less.
The 60-year-old veteran parked his 1997 Ford Explorer on St. Marks Avenue at the corner of Classon Monday afternoon. When he arrived back a few hours later, he found a side-window smashed and his briefcase – containing his quartermaster records for his VFW Post as well as his checkbook and cell phone – was gone, according to a police report.
Counterfeiter Scores Pizza
A man is wanted for using a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for a pizza last Friday afternoon.
The 24-year-old delivery woman told cops that the man, who was about 40, met her at about 3:45 p.m. in front of a building on St. Marks Avenue between Grand and Classon avenues. He handed her the $20 for the $13.25 bill and told her to keep the change. Afterwards she realized it was a fake bill. No arrests have been made, according to the report.
Man Attacked on Nostrand Avenue
A 56-year-old man was charged with choking a man and badly scratching his neck last Friday evening on Nostrand Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street.
The attack happened at about 7:20 p.m. on May 27. After the man was arrested, cops found that he had a switchblade on him as well as two open arrest warrants. He was charged with two counts of assault, according to a police report.
