The pair of 18-year-old men were walking on Eastern Parkway at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 when, at Washington Avenue, the group came up to them and someone called out “what team you with?” a slang term for gang.

The teens ignored the men and kept walking, but the group followed them, commenting on their clothing (certain colors can indicate gang affiliation). The teens went into the Franklin Avenue train station where the group stole a jacket from one of the teens as well as a cell phone, knit hat a pair of headphones and other small items.
