Cops Hunting Man for Sex Abuse on Q Train

Man took advantage of the morning rush hour to rub himself against a woman between the Atlantic and Dekalb avenue stops.


Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident on the Q train. 

On Friday, Nov. 12 at 8:35 a.m., a woman reported that while riding a northbound Q train at DeKalb Avenue, an unknown man rubbed himself against inappropriately, police said.

The woman described the man as black, 35-40 years old, standing approximately 5-feet-9-inches and weighing between 160 and 190 pounds. He was as wearing a tan skull cap and dark colored pants.

Anyone with information in regards to the sex abuse is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
